It’s always been a question for me: why don’t insurance companies allow us to simply add our pets to our life and home insurance polices?

For me, it seems like such a simple option. I’d be prepared to pay a little extra for the sheer convenience of being able to fill in a single insurance document which would include all of the following:

Home insurance
Pet insurance
Life insurance

You’d simply fill in one form with all of the pertinent insurance details and you’d get a single quote from a single insurance company.

Simplicity sells. I for one would certainly be keen to know I could cover myself, my home and my pet with one simple document and one simple premium. And for an insurance company, what better way to attract and retain customers than with a single policy solution that ties up life insurance with home and pet insurance?

Maybe some insurance company will read this and oblige?
